Lucia Maria Poels

Chia Maria has been created from the vision of Lucia Maria Poels to offer discerning accessories for the home, desk and travel.

After graduating in fashion design and then sailing the Atlantic, Lucia entered the interior design industry with leading firms Anne Charlton, Andrew Martin and Tusk Developments. She recently decided to fulfill her desire to channel her creative talents into the Chia Maria brand of products.

Following a successful launch of Chia Maria at Top Drawer in January 2010, Lucia is consolidating the brand image with a core range of beautiful products spread across five collections. She is a strong supporter of the traditonal English high street and of the hidden, yet elegant world, of the many interior designers she works with.

As founder and designer, Lucia's focus is to carefully nurture the Chia Maria brand to become synonymous for British design and luxury on both national and international levels.
